I’m Ruth. 31. Living in the beautiful city of York. Married to my lovely husband Dave.
Ectopic survivor in 2015. Very nearly lost my life due to an undetected ruptured fallopian tube.
Mummy to Dexter Bear, stillborn on 15th June 2017. Navigating our way through our ‘new life’. Learning how to parent our son that is no longer with us.
Eternal optimist.

My aim is to raise awareness by sharing our story, brutally and honestly and with no hidden bits in between. Child loss shouldn’t be a taboo. It needs to be talked about. Sadly, there are many of us out there with stories to tell. We are just one of those.
